Haldi

The Rajvansh mansion was buzzing with excitement and anticipation. The courtyard was adorned with marigold flowers and bright yellow drapes, creating a vibrant and festive atmosphere. The Haldi ceremony was about to begin, and both families were gathered to celebrate the upcoming union of Aayan and Tashvi.

Tashvi, dressed in a stunning yellow saree that complemented her glowing complexion, was surrounded by her friends and family. Her face was a mix of nervousness and forced composure, as the reality of her impending marriage weighed heavily on her mind. She was constantly aware of the curious glances and whispers about the forced nature of their union.

On the other side of the courtyard, Aayan stood with his family, looking as cold and distant as ever. His sharp features and imposing presence commanded attention. He wore a simple yet elegant white kurta, and his expression remained stern, betraying no hint of emotion. To him, this marriage was a duty, a responsibility he had to fulfill.

The ceremony began with the women from both families taking turns applying the Haldi paste on Tashvi and Aayan. Despite the cheerful chatter and laughter around her, Tashvi's thoughts kept drifting back to the uncertain future she faced with Aayan. She stole glances at him, trying to gauge his feelings, but his cold demeanor gave nothing away.

Just as the ceremony was reaching its peak, Tashvi was asked to join her friends for a traditional dance. She hesitated, not feeling up to it, but the persistent urging from her friends left her with no choice. As she stepped forward, her heels caught on the edge of her saree, and she tripped.

Before she could hit the ground, strong arms caught her. Aayan had moved swiftly, his reflexes sharp. He held her firmly, preventing the fall, and for a brief moment, their eyes locked. There was a flicker of something in his eyes, but it disappeared as quickly as it had come.

"Careful," he said coldly, his tone firm and commanding.

Embarrassed, Tashvi tried to stand up, but Aayan tightened his hold, lifting her effortlessly. "Don’t move," he instructed, his voice leaving no room for argument.

The entire family watched in stunned silence as Aayan carried Tashvi to a nearby bench. He set her down gently and knelt in front of her, examining her foot with a focused intensity. Ignoring the curious and amused glances from their families, he assessed the injury.

"It’s just a scratch," Tashvi murmured, trying to downplay the situation.

Aayan looked up briefly, meeting her eyes with an unreadable expression. "Stay still," he ordered, his tone softening slightly.

He called for a first aid kit, and within moments, he was cleaning and bandaging the scratch with surprising gentleness. His touch was careful and precise, a stark contrast to his usual aloof demeanor. Tashvi watched him, a mix of surprise and gratitude in her eyes.

As he finished, Aayan stood up and addressed the onlookers. "She’ll be fine," he announced, his tone brooking no further discussion.

Without another word, he turned and walked away, leaving Tashvi to process the unexpected tenderness she had just witnessed. The brief moment of care from Aayan was a glimpse into the complexities beneath his cold exterior, and it stirred something within her.

Meanwhile, Kiara and Yuvaan, who had been watching the scene unfold, exchanged glances. Yuvaan leaned over and whispered something to Kiara, making her blush instantly. Tashvi noticed their interaction, her curiosity piqued. She wondered what was going on between them, but before she could ask, Vedant joined the group, his presence commanding attention.

Vedant had quickly become friends with Ekagr, and their camaraderie was evident. The two of them approached Tashvi, curious about her interaction with Aayan. Vedant, ever the charming one, couldn’t resist teasing her.

"So, Tashvi, looks like Aayan is already playing the knight in shining armor," Vedant said with a grin.

Tashvi rolled her eyes but couldn’t help the small smile that tugged at her lips. "It was just a scratch," she replied, trying to downplay the incident.

Ekagr, who had been observing everything quietly, finally spoke up. "It’s not every day you see Aayan Rajvansh showing such care," he remarked, his tone thoughtful.

The group fell into an easy conversation, the initial tension easing as they joked and shared stories. Tashvi found herself relaxing, despite the looming uncertainties about her future with Aayan.

As the ceremony wound down, Kiara and Yuvaan found themselves in a quiet corner, away from the prying eyes of the family. Yuvaan, emboldened by the day's events, decided to take a chance.

"You know, Kiara, I’ve been thinking a lot about us," he began, his voice soft but sincere.

Kiara looked at him, her eyes wide with anticipation. "What do you mean?" she asked, her heart racing.

Yuvaan took a deep breath, gathering his courage. "I mean, I really like you, Kiara. I think we could be something special."

Kiara's cheeks flushed with a mixture of surprise and happiness. "Yuvaan, I... I like you too but we cant get into a relationship," she admitted, her voice barely above a whisper.

Before he could question her their conversation was interrupted, Vedant and Ekagr appeared, their curiosity getting the better of them.

"Hey, what’s going on here?" Vedant asked, his eyes twinkling with mischief.

Yuvaan, caught off guard, quickly diverted the topic. "Oh, nothing, just discussing some family matters," he said, his tone casual.

"Family matters with kiara?" Vedant questioned before he could say something yuvaan cut him off and said "vedant bhai why are you so curious about our talks let's go and eat something" He draped his hand over his shoulder trying to take him away to give little space to flustered kiara

Kiara, still flustered, excused herself, muttering something about needing to check on the arrangements. As she walked away, Tashvi and Vedant exchanged curious glances but decided not to press further.

The evening of the Haldi ceremony had revealed more than just the traditional festivities. It had shown glimpses of the complicated relationships and emotions at play, hinting at the challenges and discoveries that lay ahead for Tashvi and Aayan.

As the sun set, casting a warm golden glow over the Rajvansh mansion, Tashvi couldn't help but feel a mixture of anticipation and apprehension. The journey ahead with Aayan was uncertain, but today had shown her that there might be more to him than met the eye. And perhaps, just perhaps, they could find a way to navigate their tangled paths together

The Haldi ceremony had wrapped up, and the house was gradually quieting down. As everyone began to head to their rooms, Kiara and Yuvaan spotted Ekagr, Vedant, and Tashvi lingering in the hallway.

Kiara nudged Yuvaan, signaling it was time to put their plan into action. They approached the group with a shared mischievous grin.

"Hey, guys, before you all head off to sleep, we have a little proposal," Kiara began, her voice barely containing her excitement.

"What is it?" Vedant asked, curiosity piqued.

"Let's have a bachelorette party tomorrow night," Yuvaan suggested, his eyes twinkling. "It's your last night of being single, Bhabhi. We can't let it pass without some fun."

Tashvi shook her head, a little flustered. "I don't know... we have so much to do, and what about Aayan?"

"Come on, Tashvi, it's one night. You deserve to have some fun," Ekagr encouraged.

"But Aayan?" Tashvi repeated, her concern evident. Kiara teased her for a second but soon got onto the matter

"Leave jiju to us," Kiara said, winking. "We’ll handle that cold man. You just need to be ready to have a good time."

Tashvi hesitated for a moment but then saw the eager faces around her. With a reluctant smile, she finally nodded. "Alright, but just this once."

As the group dispersed, each heading to their respective rooms, Tashvi stumbled slightly on her heels. Before anyone could react, Aayan was there, scooping her up with ease. The suddenness of his action left everyone momentarily speechless.

"You can't walk with heels so why you wear them? it's second time of you falling because of them. I won't be available evrytime to save you", he said maintaining his cold tone

He carried her towards her room, his face a mask of concern and sternness. "Be careful next time," he said curtly, setting her down gently on her bed.

Tashvi looked up at him, surprised by his unexpected tenderness. "Thank you," she murmured.

Aayan nodded, his expression softening for a brief moment before he turned to leave. "Goodnight," he said, his voice back to its usual cold tone.

As Aayan walked away, Tashvi couldn't help but feel a flutter of emotions, wondering what lay beneath his icy exterior.

Back in the hallway, Kiara and Yuvaan exchanged a satisfied look. "Tomorrow night is going to be interesting," Yuvaan whispered to Kiara.

"Definitely," Kiara agreed, already planning how to get Aayan to join the party.
