*At Rajvansh mansion*

"Kab tak aayenge pandit ji?" Gyatri shouted from the puja room, her voice tinged with urgency.

"The priest shall arrive in merely ten minutes," Ashwin replied calmly, carefully removing his shoes before entering the sacred space.

"Bas 10 minutes! Kitni tayyari baaki hai abhi? Tum kya kar rahe ho, aur Aayan kahan hai?" Gyatri asked hurriedly, bustling around to prepare everything needed for the pandit ji.

"Maa, wo tayyar ho raha hai," Ashwin reassured her, taking the aarti plate in his hands.

"Ab tak tayyar nahi hua? Yeh ladka kya kar raha hai?" Gyatri sighed, rubbing her temples in frustration. The impending wedding arrangements had everyone on edge, especially with Aayan's apparent delay in getting ready.

Inside Aayan's room, he stood in front of the mirror, struggling with the tie around his neck. His mind was a whirlwind of conflicting thoughts, his reluctance towards the marriage weighing heavily on him. He adjusted his tie for what seemed like the hundredth time, trying to block out the upcoming events that seemed to close in around him.

"Tashvi," he muttered under his breath, her name sending a pang through his heart. The memory of their tense conversation in the garden echoed in his mind. He couldn't forget the determination in her eyes, the fearlessness that had surprised him.

Meanwhile, downstairs, Gyatri continued to organize the offerings for the puja with meticulous care. The sounds of bells and chants filled the air, mingling with the aroma of incense. She glanced at the clock again, her worry increasing as the minutes ticked by.

"Maa, please do not fret; he will arrive imminently." he said trying to calm his maa down

"And also where is Yuvaan!?" Gayatri asked

"He has gone to the mandir to collect the offerings and the mauli that you requested to bring yesterday." Ashwin replied to Gayatri's question

"Bade bhai sei jayada smajhdaar to chota bhai hai!" Gyatri said taunting Aayan as Ashwin laughed at his mother's statement

They both emerged from the sanctum of prayer simultaneously, and Gayatri proceeded directly to the kitchen, meticulously scrutinizing every aspect.That nothing was left amiss

"Amina, are all the preparations ready? Pandit ji and Khannas will be here shortly" she mentioned checking the freshly cooked food before their arrival. Gayatri said looking at the cooked dishes

Yes, maa, all preparations are complete. Only this final item remains, which will be ready in just 5 minutes, she remarked while delicately stirring the vegetables.

Gayatri exited the kitchen and, after reassuring herself, exclaimed that everything had been taken care of.

"Aayan still isn't ready. What is he doing?" She asked a little impatiently because he was taking too long. getting annoyed by the late comer (The Aayan Rajvansh)

"Mother, the priest must also be arriving soon," Ashwin reminded her gently, prompting her with a gentle nudge.

"Don't jog my memory; I'm well aware. Go check if your son is prepared or not," she asserted with a firm tone.

"Ashwin headed upstairs to see Aayan, who still hadn't gotten ready yet. Normally, he didn't take this long, but by the time he reached his room, Aayan had already emerged from it, adjusting his watch while holding his coat, making his way towards me."

"Aayan where were you Mom's waiting; we better hurry, or we'll get scolded," he said, and started walking ahead."

"Pandit ji should be arriving soon. Please call Tashvi and ask when they plan to arrive" Gayatri said looking at Aayan with a dead serious look . Aayan looked at his badi maa's face and nodded gulping down

"Why me!?" He said to himself and walked away dailing Tahsvi's number on his phone soon Tashvi picked up the call nobody has utterd a single word from past 1 minute until Aayan decided to break the silence

"Vo badi maa is asking when all of you will arrive" he said while stuttering on his words he smacked himself mentally for stuttering infront of her

"We are on route and shall arrive imminently, within a mere five minutes." she replied while smiling unknowingly while talking to him

"Okay bye" he swiftly ended the call not waiting for her to reply and went outside fixing his tie entering the hall and saw pandit ji seated on the couch examining some papers in a red folder with a thread he went and sat beside Gayatri

" have you called her?" Gayatri whispered while tapping Aayan's shoulder

"Yes, Badi maa, I spoke with her. They will be here in just five minutes," Aayan said. Shortly after, the Khanna family, along with Kiara, arrived. The Rajvansh family warmly welcomed them, and Yuvaan joined them as soon as they arrived. They all sat together in the hall. Yuvaan couldn't help but steal glances at Kiara, while Tashvi was left standing because the only remaining seat was next to Aayan. She hesitated until Gyatri gestured for her to sit there. As she moved to sit beside Aayan, their hands briefly touched. Tashvi blushed deeply for a moment.

"Now that everyone is here, let's finalize the wedding date." Gyatri announced while pandit ji studied all of the shastra and told the subh mahurat for the wedding

"The subh mahurat is after 2 weeks" pandit ji announced the date while everybody faces covered with a smile

"But this is too soon," Tashvi and Aayan said together, exchanging a glance after speaking.

"Don't worry, we have everything planned; we'll be on time," Ashwin reassured both of them, exuding confidence in his words.

"Let's fix the engagement date for tomorrow then" Nandini said while everybody agreed with her specially Gayatri as both of them know they couldn't protest against their parents

"Congratulations Mr. Rajvansh we will be partners and family soon" Deepankar said Congratulating Yashwardhan while he did the same

*Tashvi's pov*

"Yei sab itna jldi kaise fix hogaya mujhe to dad sai baat karne ka time bhi nhi mila" I said to myself tapping my feet on the floor due to the sudden shock

'I tried to talk to dad yesterday but he wasn't even ready to listen to me once'

'Ab kya karege tu Tashvi ab to tu mana bhi nhi kr sakte'

'Ab Jo bhi hoga dekha jayega ab iss Mr. Rajvansh ko kya bolu' I noticed kiara looking at me mouthing what happend .I messaged her saying ' Will tell you later when we reach home'

"Tashvi tu toh buri phas gaye" I said thinking to myself as I looked up at Aayan who is already noticing my every action With his eyes glued on me  looking down on my lap i tried to avoid his gaze while still feeling his eyes on me

End of Tashvi's pov

"Aayan where are you lost do you agree with the engagement date" Amina asked

Calling his name

"Huh? Yes mom" he replied while nodding Tashvi looked at him surprised that he agreed Amina stood up and walked towards Tashvi embracing her in her arms hugging her and said "Congratulations" as Tashvi returned the same replying with a "Thank you"

"Aayan, show Tashvi the entire mansion because soon she'll also be a part of our family." Amina Said

"Mom will it be ok if Yuvaan show her the house I have an important call" he called Yuvaan out of his dreams calling his name on the other hand Tahsvi's smile dropped listening to Aayan

"Bhabhi it's ok let's go" Yuvaan said noticing Tahsvi's sudden upset face. Tashvi walked further while Yuvaan stopped in his tracks making Tashvi stop as well

"Babhi you can take Kiara to company you" he said whispering in Tashvi ears she agreed with him and called out kaira with a teasing look on her face kiara walked towards Tashvi notcing the look on her face and pinched her waist

"Ouch" Tashvi squealed everybody's gaze averted to Tashvi at her sudden squeal including Aayan

"What happend beta" Ashwin said while being concernd about her

"Nothing serious, uncle, just a minor bump on my foot," she replied calmly covering herself while forcing and awkward smile towards them

"Be careful, beta," he cautioned. "Yuvaan please take care of them while you show them the house" Ashwin looked towards the direction where Yuvaan was standing

"Bhabhi let's go I am so exited to show you the house" he said dragging Tashvi with him holding her hand as Aayan was witnessing all of it standing he shot a glare to Yuvaan which get unnoticed by him adding fuel to the fire while three of them jolted towards the garden

"Wow it's beautiful" she said being mesmerized by the beauty of their garden "it is beautiful as the palace gardens" she said adoring the beauty walking around totally lost in the beauty

"Babhi, let's go, there's still the entire house left to see," Yuvaan urged as he walked ahead.

Kiara felt like she was third-wheeling between them.

"Guys, I'm here too, with you," she interjected as they both laughed at her statement

"Come on, Bhabhi, will you stand here only? Don't you want to see the rest of the house?"

"Yuvaan, I'm not your Bhabhi yet, and besides, we're the same age. Just call me Tashvi or Tashu. You can start calling me Babhi after my engagement," she said casually.

"Come on, Bhabhi, it's just a matter of one day. What's the harm in starting the conversation and practice right away?" he said, winking at her. Tashvi chuckled at his words.He walked ahead guiding both of them to the upper floor

"Look, Bhabhi, I'm telling you first, my room is the best," he said confidently.

"Let's see if Kiara says anything without interest," he remarked and walked ahead

"First, here is the guest room. After you've had a look, what will you do next? I'm sure you're eager to see Bhai's room, aren't you? he said teasingly.

"No Yuvan, it's nothing like that. I want to see the entire house" she tried to avoid yuvaan eyes and the look on his face

"Let me show you my favorite place, Bhabhi." He said leading them to the library in their house

"He opened the door and what emerged from both of their mouths were words of astonishment."

"This is my favorite place too now" she said squealing looking at the libaray

"Wow, sister-in-law, our thoughts align so well." He said getting amuzed by their same thoughts

"Let me tell you a secret, bhai also likes this library."

"He comes here at night to read books; actually, this library was built by instructions of bhai at home."

"He even reads books; it's impressive."

"Come on, bhabhi, there's still a lot left to see. We also need to see bhai's room at the end." He said running ahead whereas tashvi was concerned he might hurt him while running so she asked him to stop running ahead and walk with them

Again Kiara felt like she was third-wheeling between them.

"And here is my brother's home office," he said, opening yet another door.

The only word escaped Tashvi's mouth was "dark" Kiara and yuvaan both agreed with her closing the door they we saw rest of the mansion until we reached the last two rooms

"This is my room, and that one is my brother's room," he said with excitement. He led them to his room and opened the door. When he opened the door, Tashvi and kiara looked shocked. Because it was the most beautiful room of the mansion just like his Personality

"Yuvaan, is this your room?" Kiara asked.

"Yes, this is my room. I told you it's the best," Yuvaan replied.

"Because this room alone is very beautiful, though the mansion itself is the best," Tashvi explained. Because Yuvaan's room was bright and stunning, like something out of a dream

"Let's go, Bhabhi , only one room is left now." He led them to Aayan's room and opened the gate. Upon entering, they noticed it was quite dark inside he turned on every light of the room to make it look a little bright but still it was dark

The words escapes Tashvi's mouth was "dull"

"The room is so dark." She exclaimed

"It's Bhai's room what can be expected, but now that you're also going to stay here, feel free to customize it according to your liking."

"Let's go downstairs, Bhabhi; everyone must be waiting." He said closing the door of the room

"Kiara let's go" she said holding the hand of her Bestfriend dragging kiara with her

They all arrived in the hall downstairs, where everyone was gathered before.

"When they arrived, Ashwin asked Tashvi how she liked the house."

"Uncle, it's so beautiful" she replied

"Come on, Tashvi, dear let's go. It's getting late, and today we also need to prepare the guest list," her dad said, walking towards her.She nodded and respectfully touched the feet of the elders, bidding them goodbye as they all left

"When they all left, Yashwardhan remarked, 'We needed such a cultured girl for this household, especially for Aayan.'"

Aayan heard everything but without reacting, he quietly went to his room, thinking about how his life would be after marriage.

"Never mind, Aayan, now sleep, Tomorrow will be again a hectic day " he said to himself and went to sleep.
